If, say, you were to stumble upon some fresh radishes at the market behind your apartment, and you happened to chop them up with japanese cucumbers and your favorite Korean green that you still don’t know the name of…if you squeezed a lemon over it and drizzled some good, chilled olive oil over it and dusted it with salt and pepper…if you ate that salad in front of your giant windows while the warm wind howled through open windows and the clouds twisted around each other to flirt with the setting sun, would that be the most delicious salad you’ve ever eaten?
yes. without a doubt.
ps. you failed to mention mango. that just upped the hell out of things.
Please make a time-lapse movie of those cloubs (yes that’s right, cloubs!) over those buildings.
If you don’t do it, I will.
yes, i think so.
(and japansese cucumbers sounds quite magical)
A: hell yes.
(also: radishes!!)
i’m pretty sure it would be. you may have to send me a sample so i can be positive though.
indeed. without a doubt that would be delicious. i did something similar last night. a beet/avocado/grapefruit with cilantro and lime salad. dusted of course with sea salt and freshly milled ground pepper. delicious.
hey, why did my response come up as julia?
I made the same salad while watching the rain fall in huge droplets in NYC. It was not the same thing. Sigh. Oh Korea, you rule.
highly likely.
