This weekend my kitchen table arrived, and with it, the burning desire to document everything I put on it. This weekend I put bread, jam, tea, tomato salad, homemade yogurt, kiwis, blank books, pens, hairclips, the iron, antihistamines and fresh ratatouille on my table.

When I had tired of putting things on my table, I went to Laura and Achim’s, where they put fresh (amazing) sourdough bread, grilled vegetables, grilled chicken, gin and tonics and espresso on their table and shared it with me.

It was a good weekend.

I love having a table for this very reason. To spread my entire life across it and use it for every purpose under the sun. Including, occasionally, dining.

    Hey, surprise! Twins.
