Gorgeous, Stephanie — do you have others to post? I showed this to my friend at the temple and she said the white lanterns are in memorial to those who have died. The Korean on the side means, ‘Hoping they will rest in peace.’ (Kuk Lap = Heaven and Wang Sang is Peace”) Glad you’re posting your photos again and wishing you the best in Seoul! –Carol :)
