such perfect timing — i ordered in dinner from a malaysian place near my office last night that tommy recommended, had the Hainanese Chicken Rice, and it blew my mind. the ginger sauce came on the side. you would’ve approved.

I loved the Maxwell Road Hawkers Centre – not only was the Nasi Lemak delicious but the people were lovely, and the structure offered very welcome shade and coolness.

I loved the Lau Pa Sat Hawkers Centre too, though. A gorgeous building, and the “Satay Street” happening after seven each evening was a treat.

I’ve been so attracted by Singapore for their food!
There is one good Singaporean restaurant in Nakameguro, but there aren’t that many around in Tokyo. The black pepper crab I heard is awesome, I must get to Singapore.
And now you made me hungry……
