On Friday night, after the rain, after a long but exciting but tiring but productive week, after a warm cup of Royal Milk Tea, after changing from heels and fancy pants to sandals and skirt, I set out with camera into the quiet neighborhood and the warm warm wind.
perhaps i should get a subscription to EnjoyRunning, maybe then i would actually start doing so?
these words are perfect. i feel like i’m there.
please write a book. thanks.
At least the beverage selection is inferior to Korea. I don’t see any Pocari Sweat in there.
Or Aloe juice.
(Jealous.)
oh! i forgot about the zillion different kinds of vending machine drinks. *sigh*
i don’t see boss coffee in that vending machine. that was my favourite.
fancy pants! ah, it all sounds (and looks) wonderful.
oh! i was over visiting arliss on the weekend, which always makes me think lovely thoughts of you : )
I love Royal Milk Tea. Everytime my sister-in-law comes home from Japan (she lives in Yokohama) she’ll be carrying a whole box of ‘em!
i don’t know how i found you. and your photos. but i am super glad i did. i just spent the last 4 1/2 years in japan. and am missing so much. so much. your photos and words are a great reminder of all that i love about that country. and culture. thank you!
i really love how you capture tokyo, it looks so fresh ;)
i really love seeing japan through other foreigners’ eyes. especially through clear and ready eyes like your own.
